I’m not sure that’s what people were thinking, at least meseta pso2 it is not what I thought. I thought they would run as separate games, so to change you would have to exit one and start the other. This means I don’t need to do so, and also suggests that NGS is integrated with PSO2 than I thought initially, especially with communication being allowed between the games. It was largely why I personally felt it was a bit difficult to explain to folks who ask,”is it worth playing because New Genesis is going to replace it?” Since I was always under the belief that New Genesis was going to end up linked in a way (but such as PSO2es and IDOLA Phantasy Star Saga are) the games and content actually co-exist with each other.
The simple fact that it’s described to be as simple as a block shift definitely seems to create the hint that New Genesis is likely going to be much more substantial than how PSO2es was handled and if it carries on the upcoming content of this game I’m excited to at least know that players who now enjoy what there is (or are interested in being comfortable with everything there is) aren’t abruptly forced to drop everything as it doesn’t seem like the first game is dying or being shutdown at least any time soon because of the way New Genesis seems to coexist with the present game.
They also cleverly avoided the problem on collaboration and Voice permits with this movement as it is essentially the exact same game so all collab things are still valid. Mad lads SEGA pulling one of the greatest expansion without leaving the old sport in the exact same client lol.
NGS the game will function as a separate cube, you can essentially consider it such as PVP/Battle Arena and Challenge Quest. All NGS-specific styles are essentially better: they look better, have more customizations available, and you can move your fingers with them. Seems like Sega can not retroactively change PSO2 styles into NGS styles, your personality is basically either going to become PSO2 or NGS model based on what outfit/wear/part they have on. It is from that some incompatibilities may employ.
Well, I’m assuming for anything that does not immediately port out, the question comes down to if that mechanic has any reason to exist. I’m supposing that the gathering system (or at least the one we have) is not going to maintain NGS, at least on release. Probably same with all the crafting system. So there will not really be sufficient items to buy PSO2 Meseta use a material storage for.
