Carlo Corazza (World Bank)Carlo Corazza has been working as Payment Systems Expert at the Payment Systems Development Group of the World Bank since January 2007. In his position he has undertaken several missions of assessment of the market for payments and remittances in both sending and receiving countries. He is actively involved in the coordination of the activities of the WB Global Remittances Working Group and represents his unit during seminars and conferences worldwide. Mr. Corazza duties include the coordination and implementation of specific technical assistance projects in the area of remittances and retail payment systems.

Prior to joining the World Bank, Mr. Corazza has worked as Local Economic Development Expert for the United Nations Development Program in Guatemala and Serbia where he facilitated and coordinated programs of decentralized cooperation aimed at fostering the potentialities of the local economy through partnership among Public and Private entities in industrialized and developing countries. Before that he was attaché at the Italian Mission to the United Nations in New York, where he conducted research for the Economic Department and participated in the negotiations of the Italian delegation in many resolutions.
