In 2007, Uganda conducted the first comprehensive National Household Workers’ Remittances Survey on money sent home by Ugandans living and working abroad1. This report presents findings of the second such survey that was carried out in the year 2009 measuring remittances for the year 2008. The survey covered 4,080 households located in all regions of the country.
